Cataloging and Classification Department

This section implements cataloguing and classification processes and enters the relevant information into the electronic library system. It also supervises and trains the staff in the department. The Cataloguing Section is also responsible for implementing the international cataloguing standards (Marc 21, and the Anglo-American cataloging and classification system and Resource Description and Access (RDA) and following up on updates in the field of cataloguing and classification.
